ABOUT ADAM GANT
During his studies in engineering at the University of British Columbia, Adam Gant developed a keen interest in the fields of real estate and finance. This interest eventually led him to change his career path and relocate to Victoria to begin training with the National Rowing Team, while simultaneously pursuing a career in real estate development and investment. This decision proved to be a crucial turning point not only in his athletic journey, but also in his real estate career.
As he worked on growing a real estate company and navigating the challenges brought about by the credit crisis, Adam's interest in inventing and creating something new, particularly in the area of housing finance, continued to grow. He completed extensive research on mortgage markets and housing progress across the world, with a particular focus on Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, and Singapore, and discovered innovative approaches that he believed could be adapted to North American markets.
Today, Adam Gant serves as an Advisor to multiple real estate groups, providing experience-based guidance and solutions to complex problems, while also helping businesses thrive. He primarily focuses on capital structure and funding sourcing, but his experience in real estate acquisition, finance, development, and management allows him to offer a wealth of knowledge and insight into all aspects of the industry. Whether it is project planning or execution, Adam has a proven ability to identify the optimal approach or project design to help maximize value while maintaining liquidity.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Adam Gant has also been involved in several humanitarian projects throughout Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Haiti most recently.
